Plot

After the death of Jack Callahan's brother, Brad, will Jack be able to be strong enough to do the things he loves to do. It is opening day of little league baseball in Walton. Jack is the star baseball player in his league, and he knows it. He likes to help other teammates and friends as much as he can. When he decides to quit the sport that he loves, he and his best friend, Gus Morales, get in a big argument which could end their frienship. The star softball player of Walton, Cassie Bennett, helps him get through all of the badgering and they become close friends. When Gus and his x-teammates were bullying an overweight boy named teddy, Jack stops them, and that is just the beginning of their friendship.
